A community AUR package by JGMelon22. It installs our official .deb, but the package itself is not maintained by Silex Labs.
Expect rough edges, and tell us what breaks. Your reports shape the next release.
Once installed, Silex Desktop can check for new signed releases and update itself. Auto-update is still stabilizing during the alpha, so if something looks off, downloading a fresh build from this page is the reliable path.
New stable releases are announced on Mastodon under #SilexRelease, with an RSS feed if you prefer.
An experimental on-device AI assistant is included, and more Desktop features are on the way.
Silex is free/libre software (AGPL) built by the Silex Labs non-profit. Funded by NLnet through the NGI0 Commons Fund (project 2025-10-133), with support from the European Commission's NGI programme.
